Ironically, the only people that have this objection against Christianity are the people whom God has generously reached with his message of forgiveness. The more a person clings to this objection, the more they demonstrate that they are not willing to act on God’s revelation. Therefore, this objection demonstrates that revelation is not the root issue in people coming to faith; instead, the root issue is a refusal to respond to the revelation that we have already been given.
